I don’t *like* Jay, but I don’t like that people banned his account. He may have been a douchebag, yeah and he may have had a strange artstyle, but this, in my opinion, goes a little too far. Jay is right, there are people who went out of their way to hate him. NOT SUAP, but the people submitting to that. They ended the Jay Circlejerk btw, and every post about Jay will be deleted.
SUAP did a good job reporting stupid things he said. Thing is, when you are popular you will have to deal with this. This is how a celebrity is treated. Your opinion is more worth than the opinion of some other guy, deal with it and behave yourself accordingly. But reporting and banning all his tumblrs was WRONG.

So.. Jay is gone. Sorry for your loss.

wow, this fandom went from good to bad so fast. i have a feeling this group of haters are only beginning with their hate path. this is where we have to stand together against them

There is a very large portion of this fandom I greatly dislike. Sure Jay didn’t draw with perfect anatomy and was sensitive to critique on his art. But so fucking what? It’s up to him how he draws and all of us, be we artists or just art appreciators, should respect that.

Ponies are great and there a a bunch of gems in this fandom, but the lengths some of you go to disgusts me. Honestly. I didn’t know Jay personally, and I highly fucking doubt a great portion of you did, either. This isn’t just trolling. This is more than being a douchebag. You guys who ragged and ragged on Jay wittled away at him and only made him get more misanthropic. You didn’t do it for “lulz”. You took away something this man lived for. You attacked his pride and slandered his countless hours of hard work. And for what?

Don’t mind me just adding my two cents. 

When I found out that the dude was banned/suspended it was seriously something I couldn’t believe. Like yeah you can have a problem with the dude or just not like him but with everything else you can ignore him. It’s really shitty that people too time out of their day to report him and such because even though he did draw some questionable shit does not give you a right to be the tumblr police. 

Paraphrasing myself from last night. “If the dude is such a bad person then let karma bite him on the ass.” that’s what I believe in. If what Jay does disturbs you or pisses you off then I dare you to take a step into other fandoms people bash. I can guaranteed you there are a lot of people who are much worse. 

Hopefully we don’t have this kind of shit happen again in the future. 

You all seem to forget that he DID post bannable content. (The anthro/humanized sweetie and scoots pic, where both of them were depicted as 8 year olds in his own words.) Haters can’t just ban a blog like that.

And people seem to forget that EXACTLY this same thing happened to other big names in the fandom too. Kevinsano and Cartoonlion, to name only two. But interestingly neither Kev nor CL freaked out that much and blamed the whole fandom/the haters.

Seriously.

Jay is a misogynist, transphobic, ignorant, bullshit-spewing, art-thieving asshole and I’m glad he’s gone and can only hope he never has the audacity to try and come back.

Seriously, we are /far/ better off without this whiney piece of shit bouncing around.

Noooooooo… Jay T.T i cant even begin to imagine what it was like to lose all of that work, i dont care hes right, people going out of their way to get him removed was disgusting. Its not fair and its not right, if you were offended by anything just ignore it, if you cant ignore it. Get off the internet simple as :/ Grow the hell up people.
